Salary: $3,500.00 – $4,500.00 per month
Job Description:
- Prepare and submit a Site Environmental Control Programme to the Occupier of the construction site
- Identify environmental issues and recommend measures to rectify the irregularities
- Prepare and submit a Site Environmental Control Report to the Occupier of the construction site
- Assist the authorities to investigate environmental issues
- Conduct site safety inspection and enforce compliance with prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations
- Conduct Monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues
- Regular inspection on the construction site to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance of environmental health are in proper working condition and do not pose any environmental health hazard
- Attend to all feedback on such irregularities and inform the occupier of the construction site accordingly
- Investigate all accidents which occurred and recommending appropriate health & safety measures to prevent the re-occurrence
- Ensure the OHS management programme are effectively implemented and maintained
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by project managers and project engineers
Job Requirements:
- NEA Registered ECO and MOM Registered WSHO
- 3 years relevant working experience in Building and Construction Industry
- Well-versed in Environmental/HSE legislation and regulations
- Familiar with regulatory requirements related to workplace safety and health, and all other aspects of safety
- The ability to exercise initiative, manage pressure, multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment is a must
- Excellent people management skills and good interpersonal skills
